VU Skyward is a 13,000 square foot concept located 22 stories high next door to McCormick Place. Created by Concentrics Restaurants, the James Beard nominated group known for nationally acclaimed rooftops such as the ROOF at theWit, VU Skyward boasts three bars and two patios allowing for unique drinking, eating and lounging. Here, you can enjoy an ingredient and locally driven beverage program, top notch noshing and unparalleled views of the lake and Downtown within a modern designed space.

    VU's dress code reflects our venue's upscale, classy, and fun vibe. Please refrain from wearing beach attire, worn out shoes, workout attire, offensive wording or depiction on any clothing, exposed undergarments, and any other attire VU Rooftop determines to be inappropriate. VU Rooftop has final approval on any guest entry into the venue, and reserves the right to turn away guests who are determined to be inappropriately dressed regardless of the reservation status. Safety is the foundation of our dress code. VU Rooftop also reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who appears to be impaired by alcohol or drugs, or is acting in a manner determined by VU Rooftop to be threatening, combative, aggressive or disrespectful toward other guests, or any VU employees or other personnel.  Any exercise of discretion under this presentation code shall be applied in a gender-neutral, nondiscriminatory manner, in accordance with all applicable laws. COVID GUIDELINES ARE AS FOLLOWS: By entering this establishment, you are pledging that you are not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, including: fever over 100 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, complete loss of sense of smell or taste, or known close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or anyone with the above symptoms. Face coverings should be worn at all times, except while eating or drinking seated at your reserved table. No Gatherings or lines in walkways, or open spaces will be allowed. Guests are expected to be at their seated or reserved tables. Restroom use will need to be limited based on social distancing guidelines and safety of our guests. There may be interruptions due to frequent cleaning and disinfecting of our restroom areas. Be kind to staff and guests as we embark on providing hospitality in this new environment. Employees will wear face coverings Seating will be arranged to provide for a minimum 6 feet between tables. No tables will have more than 10 people. We will provide handwashing capabilities or sanitizer to employees and customers. No tables will be pre-set and condiments will be provided only upon request. Employees will wash their hands frequently and sanitize hands between contact with guests and surfaces. Employees will wear gloves according to food service regulations. All employees will pass a pre-shift health screening. We will clean and disinfect common areas and high touch surfaces frequently. We will also clean and disinfect each dining area after every use. Anyone who is not willing to help keep our community of guests and staff safe and comfortable by following these guidelines will be required to pay their check and to leave regardless of services rendered.
